Come On Board!

“Most of our lives are a series of images, they pass by like towns on a highway. Photography takes that instant out of time, altering life by holding it still forever”

Right, it´s over a year and half when I started my personal journey in the United States. Since then I haven´t stopped shooting and writing for a single day. I have shot thousands of pictures and written three Moleskine notebooks regarding my experiences here. And I have just realized that none of them will never see a printing factory. Neither the tons of visual and written memories that I took when I was living in Dublin, Australia or New York.

To my beloved ones who encouraged me so hard – Yeah, it´s time to dip my toe into the water. Here we go – My first blog!

It´s professionally challenging, and possibly suicidal, but right now it seems like a great idea to me. There are tons of bloggers trying to make a living from blogging. I´ll be just a humble blogger trying to share my travel experiences, memorable pictures and personal journeys with you. Labels? May this be a photography, travel, education or lifestyle blog? I don´t like to label things. Feel free to label it yourself!

I´m a Spanish Speaker, so it´s a double challenge for me. But I love challenges the same way that the learning journey. Travel is education.

I´m all about experiences, and the best ones are those you can share with someone. So come on board to my learning journey, I will try to bring the best for both of us.

Bienvenido a bordo!

En ocasiones nuestra vida pasa por delante de nosotros como una secuencia de imágenes. Como cuando vas viajando y ves las ciudades pasar, reflejadas en tu retrovisor. Con la fotografía puedes inmortalizar ese preciso instante y guardarlo para siempre.

¿Verdad? Ya hace más de un año y medio que emprendí mi viaje a Estados Unidos. Desde entonces no he parado de fotografiar y escribir ni un solo día. He tomado miles de fotografías y he escrito tres cuadernos de Moleskine contando mis experiencias. ¡Sinceramente, no creo que ninguno tenga el  gusto de conocer una imprenta! Tampoco todo el material audiovisual y cuadernos que escribí cuando estuve viviendo en Dublín, Australia o Nueva York.

Para todos mis seres queridos que tanto me han apoyado para escribir estas líneas – ¡Es momento de lanzarse a la piscina! ¡Vamos allá, mi primer blog!

Este blog es personal y profesionalmente un reto, probablemente un suicidio. Sin embargo, ¡Ahora mismo me parece una gran idea!

Hoy en un día hay millones de blogeros intentando ganarse la vida con ello. Yo seré simplemente una humilde escritora viajando contigo a otros lugares. Descubriremos e inmortalizaremos juntos las mejores experiencias y aprendizajes durante estos viajes irrepetibles. Etiquetas? – Podría ser un blog de fotografía, viajes, educativo o estilo de vida. No me gustan las etiquetas. ¡Siéntete libre de etiquetarlo por ti mismo!

Mi lengua materna es el español. Este es, por tanto, un doble reto para mi. Pero los retos me ponen y tras superarlos siempre hay un aprendizaje. Viajar es siempre un aprendizaje.

Me gusta dar pellizquitos a la vida, vivir experiencias, y las mejores son siempre aquellas que puedes compartir con otros. Así que únete a mi viaje. Te prometo que ambos lo pasaremos lo mejor posible.
